Occasionally, sizing for a unique Eastland shoe style may vary. If this is the case, we will have a "Fit Comment" in the product DETAILS tab. The "Fit Comment" will provide size suggestions for that style based on fit feedback we've received from other customers.
Our customers often ask us how to care for their leather and suede shoes and boots to keep them looking their best season after season. Eastland Shoes are made for long lasting comfort and durability, but you can lengthen the lifetime and improve the fit of your new footwear with a few simple tips.
Remove mud and dirt with a gentle cleaner, such as Lexol-pH or dab with a damp cloth so that the marks disappear; then dab with equal parts water and white vinegar. Next, try a surface treatment to keep water and dirt from damaging the leather, such as a silicone spray or water-repelling cream.
Silicone sprays form a protective layer, are quick, and won’t alter coloration. But sprays require frequent applications and can ultimately crack the leather by not allowing it to breathe. On light-colored leather, we suggest Meltonian Water & Stain Protector or Kiwi Protect-All; these won’t change the leather’s hue.
Application of a water-repelling cream several times a season provides extra protection with minimal discoloration. Most contain natural oils, beeswax, and/or silicone (which, when applied in this manner, better allows a shoe to breathe).Waterproofing with beeswax is a labor-intensive process (you’ll need a hairdryer for proper application) and will darken leather, but it’s also the longest lasting and one of the most effective methods. True waterproofing comes only from mink oil, but there are major downsides: significant darkening and, ironically, leather damage in the long run.
- Nylon bristle brush (like a tooth brush) and a soft, cotton rag.
- Mild cleanser, laundry detergent or dish-washing detergent (non-bleach).
- White cream shoe polish.
- Apply the mild detergent to the brush and gently scrub the soiled area of the canvas.
- Rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat if necessary.
- Apply the detergent to the soft rag and clean the outsole edge.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and dry.
- Add cream polish to a dry area of the rag and apply it to the sole edge (sparingly).
- Avoid excessive amounts or multiple coats of polish which will create a poor result.
- Wipe edges for desired appearance.
Clean your shoes by removing dirt with a mixture of soap and warm water applied with a soft bristled brush. Wipe them with a dry cloth using a circular motion. After cleaning, put them on a hanger and allow them to air dry. Under no circumstances should you place them in a dryer, because they can crack or melt.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
You may return your eastlandshoe.com order up to 60 days from the date of purchase. Please follow these instructions to return your shoes to us:1. CHECK YOUR SHOES
Items that are to be returned must be in the same condition as when you received them and they must be in their original Eastland box and packaging. Worn or damaged shoes cannot be returned for a refund.2. PACK YOUR SHOES
Simply complete the Returns & Exchanges section on the Packing Slip Receipt you receive with your order and enclose it with the items that you are returning.

If you choose to return your items via another shipping carrier, then we recommend that you insure your shipment or send your shoes via a trackable method.

HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM
If you would like to exchange your shoes for a different style or size, simply follow these instructions:1. PLACE NEW ORDER
Place a new order on our website for the shoes that you want. This will get your new shoes shipped fast, while we process your returned shoes that weren’t quite right.2. GET FREE SHIPPING
When placing your replacement order, enter the free shipping promotional code (printed on your Packing Slip Receipt) on the checkout page and we will waive the shipping & handling fee.3. SEND BACK YOUR SHOES
Follow the steps above to return the shoes that you would like to exchange.
Refunds can only be posted to the credit card used to make the original purchase. Refunds will be issued for the original purchase price and any applicable taxes. We will process your return as quickly as possible, but please note that it can take one or more billing cycles for your credit to appear after your return has been processed.
PROBLEMS WITH ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE OR IN A RETAIL STORE
We take pride in every pair of shoes that we make. Therefore, all Eastland products are guaranteed against material and manufacturing defects. Eastland does not guarantee wear and tear or any damage unrelated to the manufacturer.
